Was really looking forward to trying this spot out for the first time but was turned away. New hours were not updated. They close at 8:30pm, I got there at 8:32.

First time there and the burger was Amazing! BBQ Bacon burger with grilled mushrooms and all the fixings. The fries are fresh cut style and are not too crispy. Would score them 4.5 but since I cant go half star I went with my burger impression 5 stars! Definately going back and trying the other burgers and Philly Cheese Steak. Stay tuned....They have a great Mushroom Swiss burger! Ask for crispy fries if you so desire.

I've been going here for over a decade. the portions are HUGE, options plentiful, priced reasonable and so delicious. I just got my grandma a kids cheeseburger meal and it was the right potion to fill her up. normally we split a regular. they have a large selection to put in your burgers and make them fresh to order... and the fries OMG they're good. you can't be in Irving and not eat here

I ordered the Deluxe Burger, a fat & juicy 1lb burger of amazing goodness. With a side order of perfectly seasoned fries. A solid place to eat some very delicious home style burgers. The customer service was solid and the location and atmosphere was good. Overall experience for a first time visit is going to be a solid 4-star rating. I’ll be visiting again in the near future for my usual 3 category review.

Been here twice now and the first visit was great. Amazing food, great customer service and clean bathroom. Second visit customer service was ok but not horrible. Food still great! Buiding inside and out needs a bit of updating but doesn't matter much when the burgers and fries are that amazing.

We go up to counter to order our food, get our own drinks, bus our own table. They ask multiple times for a tip. Food is good though.

I am a cheeseburger fanatic and this place is now in my top 3!!! I'm in town for a few days and googled for a good burger and this place came up.... I'm glad I gave them a try!!! I'll be back when I get back in town...

I pass by this place everyday and never got around to try it. I dont eat burgers that much and when I do, I'm SUPER EXTRA about it. I need bacon, ez egg, onion, this and that and yet here this place is and they do that. It was amazing. A lot of people feel the same cuz you can never get thru on the phone lol.

First time we have eaten at Burger Island. The hamburgers are huge and perfectly cooked. I had the cheeseburger, my husband had a bacon burger and we split the homemade fries. The meal tasted home cooked. Burgers juicy, fresh cut onions, lettuce, tomatoes. The fries are hand cut and made to order Great service as well. A diamond tucked away on Storey Road.We will be back!

I'm a regular and this place has never failed me. The food is authentic, tasty and you can see them while they're making it which is a plus for me personally, great restaurant and one of the best burgers you can get in DFW.

Great cheesburgers!! All burgers are 1/2 pound (big enough for two), but they are only in the $6-8, range - VERY AFFORDABLE!Customer service was GREAT!!

Love this place and always friendly. Great burgers always made fresh and chicken strips are just as awesome. Be sure to have a big appetite because they have big burgers. French fries full of seasoning but not over bearing, just favorable. The fries seem to be fresh cut. Irving location recently had some upgrade modifications done in dining area with fresh paint and mild remodeling. Stop by and give this place a try.

Want a tiny bland burger from a place where the employees don't care about your experience? Then this is definitely not the place for you. This is the place to go for a burger that is an explosion of flavor. The staff has always been friendly and had a positive attitude. The food has always been epic and they make it exactly like I want and like it. The fries and onion rings, OMG THE ONION RINGS, are always hella frest and hot. All of this and more is why I will keep going back for epic foods.

First ate at Burger Island my senior year of Irving high school, a girlfriend but no kids. The girl is my wife now with 3 kids and We still love it. Great burgers and fries. Go Today!

First time saw posting on FB that it had the best burgers. Spent $30.00 on 2 people.The Burgers were undercooked as well as fries soggy. I think rushed order they were busy. Fried pickles n onion rings were awesome.

Burger Island is amazing!! I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and it was perfect!!! The bacon was so good!!!!! Please give them a try if you have never been there!! Keep up the good work guys!!

Burger Island never disappoints my chili cheese burger is always great. The chili taste great that's why I always ask for extra. Plus all the other Burger's hand made never frozen is the way we all use to make them back then but keep up the good work i will always be a customer.

Best burgers in Irving. They make everything fresh for you, the burgers are huge and portions are generous. I usually go for the classic cheeseburger and the mix of hot beef and cold veggies makes for a great taste. Treat yourself

I think their burgers are legit. You can taste the difference. Fries are fresh. Burger Island is definitely one of the best burgers in town. And it's not a fastfood type setting... but like an old fashioned diner.

Its always a great place too enjoy a Bacon Cheeseburger here & at their other locations too. Especially if you or friends even family members dine inn you get too eat a classic vanilla "ICE CREAM CONE FOR FREE" . 😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄They do have other burgers, chicken sandwiches, on their menu available.

Burger Island has burgers that are juicy and ignite my senses. They make me feel like life is wonderful. This is specifically in reference to ‘hidden’ Hawaiian burger.
